Uyku ihtiyac\u0131 ki\u015fiden ki\u015fiye farkl\u0131l\u0131klar g\u00f6stermekle birlikte yakla\u015f\u0131k olarak \u00f6mr\u00fcm\u00fcz\u00fcn 1\/3\u2018\u00fcn\u00fc kapsar.<\/p>\n<p>Uykunun kabaca REM ve Non-REM d\u00f6nmeleri olarak isimlendirilen 2 evresi vard\u0131r. Bu iki uyku evresi, s\u00fcreleri ya\u015fa ve ki\u015finin fizyolojisine ba\u011fl\u0131 olarak de\u011fi\u015fmekle birlikte ortalama bir gecede 4 \u2013 5 defa devam eden bir d\u00f6ng\u00fcd\u00fcr. Normal bir uykuda, yani bu 2 evreyi sa\u011fl\u0131kl\u0131 ve yeterli s\u00fcrelerde uyuyarak ge\u00e7iren ki\u015filerde t\u00fcm v\u00fccut kaslar\u0131 dinlenir, beyin tazelenir, hormon seviyeleri dengelenerek ki\u015fi bir sonraki g\u00fcne haz\u0131r hale gelir. V\u00fccut i\u00e7in gerekli d\u00fczeyleri ya\u015famsal \u00f6nemli adrenalin, kortizol, seratonin, melatonin, b\u00fcy\u00fcme hormonu ve yenileyici hormonlar\u0131n d\u00fczeni hep uyku esnas\u0131nda d\u00fczenlenir.<\/p>\n<p>Uyku apnesi, uyku s\u0131ras\u0131nda solunum duraklamalar\u0131ndan kaynaklanan ve buna ba\u011fl\u0131 uyku d\u00fczenini ve fizyolojisini bozan \u00e7ok sinsi ve tehlikeli bir hastal\u0131kt\u0131r. Uyku duraklamalar\u0131 s\u0131ras\u0131nda kandaki oksijen d\u00fczeyleri d\u00fc\u015fer ve karbondioksit miktarlar\u0131 artar. T\u00fcm uyku d\u00fczeni bozularak ki\u015finin dinlenmesi , v\u00fccudun rahatlamas\u0131 ve hormonal dengenin sa\u011flanmas\u0131 imkans\u0131z hale gelir. Uyku Apnesi, sinir sistemindeki bir problem veya solunum yollar\u0131ndaki bir t\u0131kan\u0131kl\u0131k sebebiyle olu\u015fabilir.<\/p>\n<p>Y\u00fcksek sesle uyuma yani horlama, yorgunluk, a\u015f\u0131r\u0131 sinirlilik, konsantrasyon bozuklu\u011fu, sabah ba\u015f a\u011fr\u0131s\u0131, depresyon, kontrol edilemeyen \u015fi\u015fmanlama gibi belirtiler ile sinsi olarak ilerleyip tedavi edilmedi\u011fi taktirde y\u00fcksek tansiyon, kalp- damar hastal\u0131klar\u0131na yol a\u00e7arak hayat\u0131 tehdir eden olduk\u00e7a \u00f6nemli bir hastal\u0131kt\u0131r. Genelde hasta ki\u015fi, bu de\u011fi\u015fimler \u00e7ok fakt\u00f6rl\u00fc ve yava\u015f seyirli oldu\u011fundan hastal\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 zaman\u0131nda farkedemez. \u00c7o\u011funlukla uykudaki anormal durumlar (Horlama, uykuda d\u00fczensiz solunum ve nefes durmas\u0131) fark edilerek yak\u0131nlar\u0131 taraf\u0131ndan bize getirilir. E\u011fer bir ki\u015fide horlama ve d\u00fczensiz uyuma, y\u00fcksek tansiyon, sabahlar\u0131 hi\u00e7 uyumam\u0131\u015f gibi yorgun kalkma ve uyanma zorlu\u011fu, a\u015f\u0131r\u0131 terleme, a\u015f\u0131r\u0131 yorgunluk ve g\u00fcnd\u00fcz uyuklamalar\u0131, cinsel isteksizlik, a\u015f\u0131r\u0131 kilo alma, depresyon, sinirlilik gibi \u015fikayetler varsa mutlaka uyku apnesi a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan muayene edilmelidir.<\/p>\n<p>Uyku apnesi \u015f\u00fcphesi ile incelenen bir hastada \u00f6ncelikle ayr\u0131nt\u0131l\u0131 bir kulak burun bo\u011faz muayenesi yap\u0131lmal\u0131d\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Burundan yeterli hava giri\u015fine engel olanlar; burun i\u00e7indeki k\u0131k\u0131rdak ve kemik e\u011frilikleri, burun etleri, alerjik rinit ve kronik sin\u00fczit hastal\u0131klar\u0131, geniz b\u00f6lgesi kist ve iltihaplar\u0131d\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Hem burundan hem de a\u011f\u0131zdan yeterli hava giri\u015fine engel olan yumu\u015fak damak sarkmalar\u0131, dil k\u00f6k\u00fc \u015fi\u015fmanl\u0131klar\u0131, bademcik b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fckleri, yutak dokusunun gev\u015fekli\u011fi, g\u0131rtlak kapa\u011f\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fckl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc ve gev\u015fekli\u011fi ve ayr\u0131ca \u00e7ene yap\u0131s\u0131n\u0131n geride yerle\u015fim gibi baz\u0131 ortodontik ve kafa yap\u0131s\u0131n\u0131n geli\u015fim bozukluklar\u0131 da tek tek incelenip ara\u015ft\u0131r\u0131lmal\u0131d\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Uyku apnesinde kesin tan\u0131 i\u00e7in respiratuar polismonografi denilen uyku testine ihtiya\u00e7 vard\u0131r. Bu testte hastan\u0131n uyku esnas\u0131nda solunum ve v\u00fccut hareketleri, kan oksijen seviyesi, kalp ritmi ve EKG kay\u0131tlar\u0131n\u0131n tutuldu\u011fu ve uyku bozuklu\u011funun v\u00fccut \u00fczerine etkilerinin objektif olarak de\u011ferlendirilerek bir rapor olu\u015fturulur ve tedavi bu testteki sonu\u00e7lar ile birlikte muayene bulgular\u0131na g\u00f6re planlan\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Tedavi sonras\u0131nda hastalar\u0131n g\u00fcnl\u00fck aktiviteleri normale d\u00f6ner.
